The financial institution will provide the funds in the form of a loan.

Uzbekistan-based company MaxCopper will receive a €10 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The financing will be used to develop copper tube manufacturing operations.

The loan will enable the company to launch the production of copper tubes and fittings. These products are widely used in heating and ventilation systems.

MaxCopper also plans to manufacture various types of copper tubes, including lightweight coils. The majority of the output is expected to be exported to European countries and neighboring markets.

“This project will support the development of a new copper tube manufacturing industry in Uzbekistan and will represent an important step toward diversifying the country’s industrial base,” the EBRD stated.

MaxCopper was established in October 2022 and is registered in Tashkent. The company specializes in the production of construction materials and metal products.
